Hirtshals is a major North Jutland ferry hub with direct road access from the E39. Color Line and Fjord Line use separate terminal arrangements, so follow the operator and terminal details shown on your booking.
Seyðisfjörður is Smyril Line’s arrival port in eastern Iceland. Norröna connects it with the Faroe Islands and Denmark during the Iceland sailing season; this is a different gateway from Reykjavík.

A published route does not mean every sailing or ticket type is available through the comparison service. Consult the operator if your preferred option is not listed.

Build the itinerary in sailing order: reach the departure terminal at Hirtshals, complete ferry check-in, then plan the transfer from the arrival terminal at Seyðisfjörður. Compare that full sequence with the route in the booking result; a place name alone does not identify the quay or the passenger entrance.
Plan the two ends of the crossing: Hirtshals departure and local travel guide · Seyðisfjörður arrival and local travel guide.
For the return, the journey starts at Seyðisfjörður. Use the Seyðisfjörður to Hirtshals guide to check that departure separately; the last useful connection and the terminal approach at Seyðisfjörður may differ from the outward trip.

The map searches show the named places. Use the terminal address and reporting instructions on your operator confirmation for navigation to check-in.
